At the end of the afternoon, a woman left two dogs in her car on the Ekkersrijt industrial estate in Son en Breugel on Saturday. Agents have smashed the window of the car, so that the dogs got some fresh air again. When the woman came back to her car, she stated that she had left water for the dogs. “But dogs can’t turn bottles of water,” the police write on Instagram on Wednesday.

The police write on Wednesday that there has been a lot of attention in recent years to make it clear that animals and children cannot be left in warm cars.

Yet that is not yet clear to everyone, because the woman thought he could do a message around five o’clock on Saturday while her dogs were in the car. The temperature rose to around thirty degrees that afternoon.

Window
According to the police, it was ‘horribly warm’ in the car. Neighborhood agents saw the dogs panting in the car, but could not reach the driver. They therefore decided to hit the window without mercy, so that the dogs got some fresh air again.

A little later the owner came to her car and told the officers that she had put the window ajar and had left water for the dogs. “The only thing she had not taken into account was that dogs could not turn caps of bottles of water,” the police writes in a tangibly irritated way.

“Let’s be clear once and for all. Children or animals in a warm car? Uit out and success with it,” the police close the message.
