The Birmingham club has posted a message for the great rocker on social media
The Aston Villa greets Ozzy Osbourne, a legend of Heavy Metal and great fan of the English team who died on 22 July 2025 at 76 years old. It does so by publishing a post full of emotion and regret on Instagram, remembering its roots, in the Aston district, very close to the Villa Park, and the bond it has always maintained with the community where it has grown.

The Birmingham club, in an affectionate embrace to the singer’s family – who had held a memorable farewell concert on Villa Park on 5 July in front of 40 thousand fans together with many big names in music – wrote on social media: “Growing up in Aston, not far from Villa Park, Ozzy has always maintained a special bond with the club and with the community from which it came. Everyone’s thoughts, at the Aston Villa, are for his wife Sharon. His family, friends and countless fans in this difficult moment.
