THEn an era in which everything seems to move at dizzying speed, relationships, careers, life itself, stopping to recognize one’s vulnerability can be a revolutionary act. With its new single “Burnout”the singer -songwriter Nahaze chooses to light the spotlight on a often silent theme: theemotional exhaustion that can arise not only from work, but also from human relationships.
Between personal reflections and universal ideas, his words become an invitation to rediscover the strength that is hiding behind all fragility and to recognize that Giving yourself time and listening is the first step to return to breathe.

The new single “Burnout” uses a strong word, often associated with the world of work, but here linked to the relational scope. What prompted you to make this connection? How much of staff in the song?
«This connection arises from the fact that although the term is used more in the workplace, it seemed to me Perfect to describe the sensations that can be experienced in relationships. It is not born from a specific situation but from the fruit of various reasoning on relationships in general, which often led me to feel like in burnout, with Physical, behavioral and psychological symptoms Annexes. There is a lot of staff, precisely because it derives from ideas and reflections that arise from first -person experiences ».
In “Burnout” tells a relationship that consumes, which empties. What makes a toxic or exhausting relationship?
«I think a relationship can make us feel emptied even without evident quarrels or dramas, and often the main cause is precisely the lack of authentic communication. This aspect may seem like a form of disinterest and triggers the dynamics where you continually try to understand and clarify, creating anxious and a sense of insecurity, An empty space that slowly widens. It is like a house that, despite being standing, begins to lose warmth because nobody really lives it in ».
Many people struggle to recognize the signals of relational burnout. When did you understand that you have reached the limit, and what did you do? How important do you think it is to learn to say “enough” also to protect your mental health?
“For me the moment has always arrived as an epiphany. I realize that I have not been fine for a while And something inside me wakes up and protects me. AND Important knowing how to say bastA, but to do this you need to, first of all, love yourself and understand what your limits are. Only in this way can you really protect your mental health and choose relationships that respect us».
Often the burnout is not only relational, but also mental and working. Have you ever experienced a sense of exhaustion linked to your work in music or media exposure?
«In order to associate burnout with the relational world I had to first experience it in the working field. Music and I have a real relationship, and I think the connection is born from this. It is something that I love and that has been able to lead me to the exhaustion for all the dynamics that surround it. For me, the key is learn to stop, accept that Taking a step back is not a defeat, But often the only way to be able to do others forward ».
Do you think that there is enough space in the artistic world to take care of mental health, or is there always the risk of “having to keep hard”?
«Personally I can carve out a space to take care of my mental health, but I am not sure that the same is worth the more” veterans “artists, who perhaps do not even have a day free.
Today there is much more awareness about how important this aspect is, and I believe that Treating one’s mental health is fundamental to be really the best version of itself. However, I also think it is not always easy: there are often dynamics or obligations that push you to resist, even when it would be necessary to stop.
Protect your mental health it should not be a luxury, but a priority. And who understands it, is already a step forward. I hope that more and more people, inside and outside the artistic world, understand that mental health is not a weak point, but a starting point. We all deserve the space to breathe, to treat ourselves, to really be ourselves ».
How do you recognize the signs of Burnout today? What helps you in moments of emotional or mental overload? Do you have any self-care personal practices?
“I’m a person who Somatizes a lottherefore I often recognize the signs of the burnout when my body begins to “do not collaborate”, and what I did with serenity before becomes heavy or tiring.
From there a sense of anxietywhich leads me to close myself, both in the activities that I carry out and in the relationships with the people around me.
When I can, it helps me a lot completely detach and, as they say in English, “Touch Grass”: go out, walk, return to contact with nature and with what surrounds me. If, on the other hand, I don’t have the time or space to do it, I still try to take care of me with little things: go to the cinema, do activities that stimulate me or distract me healthy in a healthy way ».
Do you think is it possible to talk about fragility without losing artistic strength or public credibility? If I could say something to those who feel “burned inside”, both for love and for stress or work, what would you say?
«On the contrary, I think an artist should speak of fragility and get to empathize with his audience. There credibility arises from how authentic the message is and is implemented as such. To those who feel “burned inside” I would say not to reject this feeling but to welcome it, to listen to without feeling mistaken. I think it is the first step towards improving ».
In an era where everything is accelerated, relationships, career, communication, how can you still remain present, without exhausting yourself?
«I believe that, in a world that runs so fast, the real challenge is to learn to really appreciate what we already haveinstead of constantly chasing what is missing or what we could get.
Remain present It means granting permission to slow down, to take time for yourself without guilt, and to choose carefully what and above all who to welcome in one’s life.
It is essential to surround yourself with experiences, environments and people who enrichwhich nourish our energy and our balance, rather than simply fill the time with noise or empty obligations.
In this way, we can avoid exhausting, finding peace and meaning also in the chaos that surrounds us».
Do you feel part of a generation that is finally breaking silence on themes such as burnout, mental health and performance anxiety?
“I really feel our generation is taking an important step breaking the silence on themes such as burnout, mental health and performance anxiety. Unlike previous generations, in which these topics were often taboo or a source of shame, today it is talked about with less and less embarrassment and more awareness.
This opening allows us to break down stereotypes and to build important spaces of dialogue, where to ask for help is no longer seen as a weakness, but as an act of courage and self -care. I think this transformation is fundamental to improve collective well -being and to help above all those who still struggle to recognize and face these inner challenges ».
