After the heavy fire of 12 July at Horafrost in Staden, the clean -up works have now started. In addition, not only the debris is cleared, but also several tons of frozen vegetables must be removed from the business site.
The municipality of Staden is taking additional traffic measures to ensure that the many freight traffic runs smoothly and safely. Especially in the Grote Veldstraat, traffic will be hindered. “In a first phase, until 1 August, the Grote Veldstraat at the company will be completely closed. This is followed by a second phase with one -way traffic, whereby it is no longer possible to drive into Schavenstraat,” explains Mayor Ludwig Willaert.
