In the last decade, the world championship has competed in Termas de Rio Hondo, but will soon return to the capital circuit, which will be completely renewed
Since 2027 the Argentina Grand Prix will have a new home: from the city of Termas de Rio Hondo, which has hosted MotoGP in the last decade, it will move to Buenos Aires. The Oscar Oscar Y Juan Galvez will be completely renewed and will see a layout update of the track that has already hosted MotoGP in the 60s, 80s and 90s. Strengthened by the record in terms of appearances in Argentina on the occasion of the recent events, now the world championship is preparing to run near the capital. Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sportsm, said: “It is fantastic news for MotoGP, and for fans in Argentina and Latin America. A great appointment that brings us close to the heart of Buenos Aires, an emblematic context not only at the country level and continent, but also globally.”
