Jumper rider Richard Vogel secured the European Championship title with sparkling clean rides. His girlfriend Sophie Hinners narrowly missed a medal.
Vogel had gone to the last two rounds on Sunday (20.07.2025) in La Coruña in Spanish on United Touch s. Even after the first circulation on the final day, he was in first place and did not take the victory with a confident ride at the end.
In places two and three followed Scott Brash (Great Britain, Hello foil) and Gilles Thomas (Belgium, Ermitage Kalone).
Sophie Hinners (Iron Dames My Prins) also remained flawless in all her rides. In the end, the time decided on the placements and Hinners landed in sixth place.

Ehning and Kukuk miss the second circulation
In addition to Vogel and Hinners, Marcus Ehning (Coolio) and Olympic champion Christian Kukuk (Just Be Gentle) also managed it under the top 25 and were therefore allowed to start in the first round on Sunday. However, both brought four error points into the final day.
Ehning came up with eight more error points, at the end of the 24th Kukuk received a time penalty point and landed in 17th place. Both missed the second circulation of the best twelve starters.
