A very large branch of a tree fell on the foot and cycle path on the Ettensebaan in Breda on Saturday evening. Probably the lightning was struck in the tree during thunderstorms. As far as we know, no one was injured.
A passer -by has alerted the fire brigade. After that, firefighters were taken to take action to ‘belle’ the enome branch and to put them aside.
The municipality will clean up the pruning heap.
‘Heavy rain and thunderstorms’ were announced in Brabant. For that reason, code yellow was also announced. It was not so bad on a single report of barely noticeable storm damage.
