Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois meet for the second time in the boxing ring, this time the Wembley is concerned with all four World Cup titles. And much more.
The heavyweight boxes have had a home for its biggest fights for some – and the circus returns there at the weekend. On Saturday, all four titles (WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF) are at stake between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois in the Wembley in London in front of over 90,000 spectators. But this boxing evening goes far beyond these World Cup belts.
Dubois wants to strike back after “fraud”
It is the chance to revenge, especially for dubois. The two boxers in the ring faced each other two years ago and the Briton believed for a moment that the Ukrainian, who had previously been undefeated, believed. Dubois is not just about the revenge, but also about initiating a new era. He has beaten Joshua, now wants to defeat Usyk and also has Tyson Fury on the note (more on this later) – the three great heavyweight champions of the recent past should soon be on his list. “I have to show that this is a new era, a new age. When it comes to verbally striking, Dubois is definitely the one with the higher number of stroke.
