A big fire raged in a house on Waterstraat in Diessen on Friday evening. At that time there was a dog in the house, which was saved by the fire brigade.
The fire broke out in the bathroom. What exactly was fire is not yet known. The fire brigade searched with a heat imaging camera the house and saw the dog lying, a Dalmatian.
The fire brigade saved the dog and it was then urgently taken to a vet in an animal ambulance.
Due to the fire, considerable smoke developed in the home. The fire brigade scaled up to Middelbrand and the forces of Diessen, Hilvarenbeek and Tilburg pulled out.
The damage in the home is great. The fire brigade was still busy for about ten hours.
