In an industrial accident at the Waste Energy Company (AEB) on the Australiahavenweg in the western port area in Amsterdam, a dead afternoon fell. The victim fell of great height.
The report about the accident arrived at the emergency services around 1.15 pm. Fire brigade, police and a mobile trauma team arrived. A trauma helicopter was also called. The Labor Inspectorate cannot say anything about the identity of the victim.
Company is ‘deeply touched’
The AEB says it is an external colleague and that they have been deeply touched by the event. “Our thoughts go out to the family and loved ones of the victim.”
The Labor Inspectorate will investigate how the accident could have happened. That is common in industrial accidents.
