The German sporting goods provider Adidas AG has set a sign in Vienna. On Thursday, the company opened its “Adidas Brand Center Vienna” in the Austrian capital.
In Mariahilfer Straße 71, the brand moved out rooms with an area of 1,070 square meters on two floors, which had been used by the competitor Nike until last autumn. There, Adidas now employs 40 employees: inside and offers a wide selection from its perfoma and lifestyle varieties.
“The performance segment focuses on the areas of training, running, football and outdoor clothing,” explained the company. “Lifestyle includes Adidas Originals, some limited collections of the statement line as well as selected products from the areas of sportswear and motorsport.” Objects and works of art of local designers provide local color: inside and artists: inside, which were designed especially for the store.

Marina Moguš, Managing Director Adidas Central Europe, paid tribute to the reopening: “We are finally back in Vienna and are happy to have created a shopping experience in our Brand Center that connects and inspired,” she said in a statement. “For the opening and the entire week, we have planned wonderful activations with local communities, in which the Viennese are happy to come together.”
