“Unacceptable”: Germany rejects the proposal of 2,000 billion euros for EU-Leerbaren budget

Germany does not agree with the proposal of Ursula von der Leyen, chairman of the European Commission, for a new EU-Meer years budget. Von der Leyen wants a budget for 2028-2034 of 2,000 billion euros. That is almost a doubling compared to the current financial plan of 1,200 billion euros, which runs until 2027.
