Taylor’s Swift’s father, Scott, is currently recovering from a heart surgery that he had to endure last month. This reports “People”.
Scott Swift, 73, underwent five-time bypass surgery, which his doctor ordered after striking findings during a recent routine examination. More detailed details have not been announced. However, there was no heart attack trigger for the procedure. Swift, her brother Austin and Scott’s wife Andrea, with whom he has been married for 37 years, are supported by him during his recovery.

Swift’s parents had already struggled with health problems in the past. The singer revealed in an essay for “Elle” in 2019 that both Andrea and Scott had cancer. Andrea received her first diagnosis in 2015. And in the 2019 contribution, Swift wrote that her mother “is now fighting against it again”. It did not name any exact types of cancer.
