The list of nominees is led by the drama “Severance”. The Apple TV+series addresses the maintenance of the work-life balance using a chip that is implanted in the brain. With a total of 27 entries, the show is the clear favorite of this year’s Emmy Awards. Among other things, it is represented in the categories “Best Drama Series” and “Best Director of a Drama series”. Actor Adam Scott is also one of the candidates for the award as a “best leading actor in a drama series”.
“Severance” is closely followed by the success series “The White Lotus” with 24 nominations and “The Bear” with 13. “The Last of Us” can also look forward to several mentions.

“The Bear” received a total of 23 entries in 2024 and was able to take home eleven awards. Also this year she is one of the favorites in the “Best Comedy Series” category. Other nominated productions are the series “The Studio” and “Shrinking”. The latter also ensures a premiere for the “Indiana Jones” star Harrison Ford: he is nominated for an Emmy for the first time in his career. With his role in “Shrinking”, he is one of the candidates for the award as a “best supporting actor in a comedy series”.
