ADO Den Haag attracts German trainer Peter
ADO Den Haag has appointed 37-year-old German Robin Peter as the new head coach. He is the successor to Darije Kalezic, who left for the Eredivisie after missing out on promotion. Peter comes over from the Belgian club Cercle Brugge and has signed a two -year contract.
Peter worked until January as a coach of FC Emmen. He has a past as a coach of the youth teams of RB Leipzig. “With Robin Peter, ADO Den Haag gets a young, modern and ambitious trainer with an impressive background at RB Leipzig, who is known for attractive football and the development of top talent,” ADO reports in a press release.
The Hague club will be back in the first division next season. ADO announced the departure of technical director Joris Mathijsen last week. The former international could no longer agree with the club’s sporting policy. ml
