PSV has officially received his new wing defender Kiliann Sildillia. The 23-year-old Frenchman comes over from SC Freiburg and signs a contract until mid-2030 in Eindhoven, the club reports. He will play with back number 25.

The player, who usually plays on the right flank, connects directly to the selection on Wednesday morning. PSV is currently at training camp in Marienfeld, Germany.

Experienced
Sildillia played 82 games in the Bundesliga and sixteen duels in the Europa League. He is also a French youth international and he won a silver medal at the Olympic Games with France last year.

“We see Kiliann as an excellent addition to our defense,” reports technical director Earnest Stewart on the club website. “Kiliann is defensively very strong and can also handle defending in large spaces. Moreover, he is fast, athletic, physically strong and a good header.”

Reunification
Sildillia himself calls PSV ‘the perfect next step’ in his career. At the club he is also reunited with an old colleague. “I played together with Guus Til at Freiburg,” explains Sildillia.

Til signed in Eindhoven for two years last month. “Guus is a pleasant person and a good football player. We had a strong bond. It will undoubtedly be beautiful to see him again,” the Frenchman concludes.
