Joni Jurmo’s time in Calgary seems to have been completed.

NHL club Calgary Flames has set up Finnish defender Joni Jurmo23, on an absolute migration list with the intention of terminating the player’s contract, says Elliote Friedman Message service in X.

Jurmo signed an agreement with the Canadian club in the spring of 2024. The agreement would have covered the coming season.
In the NHL, Jurmo has not played a match yet. Last season, Jurmo played in the AHL at Calgary Wranglers, where he played 17 matches without power points and in ECHL in Rapid City Rush, scoring two goals and eight assists.
Jurmo previously played in the league, where he last represented KooKoo.
