Huub Stapel, who recently left Flikken Rotterdam because he was annoyed by cutbacks in production, knows first -hand what the dismissed Victor Reinier has eaten at the police series Maastricht’s sister. And although he leaves the exact reason for that dismissal in the middle, the crystal clear where his sympathy lies …

Huub is clear

According to Huub, enough has happened to justify that dismissal. “I know everything that happened, because of course I worked with the same crew and yes, they did take a good step. I have spoken to Angela occasionally, yes,” he says in front of the camera of Shownieuws.

What is his conclusion? “Nothing. I’m not going to say anything about that. But I think I call Angela enough.”

Bolls

Show expert Bart Ettekoven finds the criticism that Huub from Spicy. “I think they will regularly meet each other in Amsterdam-Zuid, in the enclave as they call it popularly, because they do not live that far from each other and they will get their balls every morning at the same bakery. I find it meaningful.”

Does Huub still have contact with Flikken producer Warner Bros? Is a glue attempt being undertaken? The actor: “There is no contact, no. I do have contact with the crew and the cast and the direction, but there is no contact with Warner Bros. We had those conversations and they didn’t run out.”

5,000 euros

Huub denounces the producer. “They hardly knew what series it was. They were talking about ‘a program’. If that man who came then earns 5,000 euros more at the calf slaughterhouse tomorrow, then he will go there. What does it interest those people? It doesn’t interest them.”

According to Warner Bros, the series is not being cut at all. “Of course they deny everything. I would do that if I were them. I was that mentality.”
