She continues: “When I was already fond of horses as a little girl-‘horse’ was just about my first word-that seemed absolutely not feasible, because dressage is such an expensive sport. I am very grateful for my TV career to make this possible.”
Still smart
Britt is happy that she has removed a prejudice from many people. “The first five years that I was on television, people often thought I was stupid. Not so strange, because I really had no general knowledge. I didn’t read a newspaper, did not know who the president of which country was. Although of course that says nothing about your intelligence.”
