Britney Spears caused excitement among her fans when she wrote on Instagram that she adopted a “beautiful little girl”. However, Rolling Stone can confirm that she actually did not add a new baby to the family and only allowed a joke on Instagram.
Spears joked in the post
Under a video of himself when dancing, Spears wrote: “I would like to let you know that I adopted a beautiful little girl đŸ˜‰đŸ˜‰ !!! Your name is Lennon London Spears đŸ¤ªđŸ¤ªđŸ¤ª !!!” (The choice of emojis by the pop queen may have been a good indication that she was not serious.)
Later in her post, Spears wrote that the imaginary child was wearing a “lovely dress” and added again a number of “đŸ¤ª” emojis.
Spears is the mother of two children and shares her sons-20-year-old Sean and 18-year-old Jayden-with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. So even if there is no actual family expansion, Spears has recently spent more time with her children after she had initially lost custody and was alienated for several years while fought against her guardianship.

Last month Spears shared a photo of himself and Jayden after visiting the church together. She also published a video in which Jayden drove her through the area. “He is 1.91 m tall and his hands are now so huge !!! How long will I be shocked ???” wrote in the caption of the now deleted contribution. “It’s so incredibly crazy, it’s not even funny !!! I’m blessed !!!”
The magazine “People” also reported in November 2024 that she spends more time with her younger son and that “the time together made her happy”.
