The appearance of this fungus may surprise you.
The hair -loving look like this surprised Saija in the woods. Reader
Iltalehti reader Saija had left his spouse’s call to the chanterelle forest in Parainen as he collided with a special vision.
– My spouse first posted a video that the plot we purchased had a lot of chanterelles and should be picked up. Then I went there, Saija says.
He moved from the path to the woods.
– I thought if I could find those chanterelles now, but I ran into that sponge. I had never seen or heard of it. Although there was only one, it bounced really well from the ground. The spots were bright red.
Saija posted a message about the family’s joint WhatsApp group. The family member recognized the fungus as a furry.
– From there, my sister’s spouse recognized it, and I still confirmed online.
The sponge stayed in the woods.
– I left it there when I wasn’t sure if I could pick it up, says Saija.
– My mother has really been a lot of mushrooms, and she has never seen one. It was really interesting, yes, as if blood drops had dripped from it.
Hair -loving is not toxic
Mushroom Specialist at the University of Helsinki Pertti Salo told Iltalehti in the past it was quite common. It can be encountered in dry fabric forests all over the country, except for the Tunturi Lapland.
– Hair -bent is a hairy growing in dry fabric forests. There is nothing wonderful in itself. I don’t know if anyone knows the exact reason why it becomes red drops of fluid, Salo said.
– It’s not a toxic fungus, but it is so hard that you can’t even cut it with a knife. The taste is burning.
The droplets are dyes dissolved in fungus water. The young hair -loving makes droplets in damp weather. In older people, the fungus dries and turns brown.
– There are many mushroom species that become droplets. They are of different colors, some red, some white and some of the water. For example, the carrying head also drops at a young age, Salo said.
