RB apparently wants to get Bayern boss back

The sporting management of FC Bayern currently consists primarily of Max Eberl and Christoph Freund. But how long does the duo work together in Munich?
The Red Bull Group is apparently interested in Bavaria’s sports director Christoph Freund. According to a report by the TV station Sky, the Austrian, who was under contract in various functions at Red Bull Salzburg for 17 years, should already be informed about the RB plans. It is still unclear whether friend would work in Leipzig or Salzburg.
But: Freund still has a contract at FC Bayern until 2027, so it would probably be due to a transfer if Bayern should be willing to give up the 48-year-old.
Freund came to Munich two years ago, as sports director in the first two transfer periods in the club, led the fortunes because there was no sports director after the departure of Hasan Salihamidžić.
Together with CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, for example, he attracted Harry Kane to Germany in 2023 and took Eric dier half a year later for a low price of Tottenham Hotspur. Freund was also responsible for deals like Bryan Zaragoza or Sacha Boey, who have not (previously) turned out to be a direct hit.
