Around 200 guests are said to have celebrated the 18th birthday of the exceptional footballer on the evening in the Spanish coastal town of Sitges near Barcelona – including international artists, influencers and well -known footballers. The Spanish Association for People with Achondroplasia and other skeletal dysplasia (ADEE) immediately responded to the reports. In a public statement, the organization expressed the procedure sharply and announced “legal and social measures” against the professional.

The ADEE sees the incident a clear violation of applicable laws and fundamental ethical standards. On their website it says that such performances are not only prohibited by law, but would also contradict the idea of a respectful and equal society.

Carolina Puente, President of ADEE, clearly commented on what is happening: it was unacceptable that people with small growth in the 21st century still had to appear at private events for entertainment purposes.

The ADEE refers to the Spanish law on the rights of people with disabilities. There it says: “Performances or leisure activities are prohibited in which people with disabilities or this are used to cause mockery, mockery or laughter at the audience, which contradicts human dignity.”

Puente also underlines the role of personalities with a public reach: Those who have social influence are particularly responsible. Because young people in particular could get false values through such behavior.
