Linda de Mol came very badly from the voice riot, even though her sweetheart Jeroen Rietbergen can be blamed the most. How is that? “She is damaged by the men around her.”

Well, the countdown can begin: Linda de Mol said five months ago that she was going to explain ‘another time’ why she did not intervene adequately when she heard about the alleged rapes by Ali B. She claimed that this was at the request of the victims, but she could of course have warned her brother John discreetly.

Passive-aggressive

It is one of the many questions that Linda has been refusing to answer for years. The extent to which she has dropped stitches is therefore unclear, but that her sweetheart Jeroen Rietbergen has done that is one hundred percent sure. As a former band leader of The Voice, he has misbehaved, although rape cannot be proven, the Court of Appeal ruled this week.

After the final decision, Linda came to not prosecute Jeroen with her umpteenth passive-aggressive statement, and that says exactly why she fell off her throne as a TV queen. She is no longer a public favorite.

Image damage

Zabeth van Veen, known as an image expert, finds Linda awkward. “People crazy enough Linda on Jeroens mistakes. While she didn’t do anything wrong,” she says in De Telegraaf. Well, that’s not clear.

Anyway, says Zabeth: “The only thing that she can be charged is that she always takes it for the men in her area involved in a scandal. Jeroen, her brother John, her nephew, that big TV interview with family friend Marco Borsato … her positive image is damaged by the men around her.”

Statement

Such a Linda just has to give a fair statement, says Zabeth. “You can suffice with something like” I understand that everyone gives me a better person, but I love him. “She doesn’t have to say more.”

Will there be a duo interview? Yes, she thinks. “Probably through an interview in the Linda. Very smart: then they can really make their own story what they can refer to if other media ask questions.”
