Bundesliga promoted Hamburger SV presented the expected newcomer in the storm after the departure of second division goalkeeper Davie Selke (30, free of charge from Basaksehir). The Saxons were ready to go down during the transfer, since the higher salary decreases their own severance payments. The national player’s contract would have expired in 2026, in Leipzig he earned up to 6 million euros. In order for Poulsen to dispense with a lot of content, an agreement was reached by a million euros by RB. Otherwise the player would probably not have been paid for the HSV.

With all his experience and maturity, he knows all facets of professional football. Yussuf has gone the way from the 3rd league to the Champions League with Leipzig and therefore only knows too well what is important to keep the class and to establish himself in the Bundesliga in the long term. He should bring this experience into the team and with his personality as a leader precede. “
Poulsen, Glatzel & Co.: HSV in the storm variable set up
At HSV, the number of nominal center strikers will increase from four to five.
