Mikko Kekäläinen, who hosts the finale of the Seinäjoki Tango Market Song Contest, surprised viewers in YLE’s live TV broadcast.
Instead of hosting the finals, Kekäläinen opened to sing a grip on Toivo Kärje Tango on stage Quietly at night.
The audience ripped off their joints after the performance of Kekäläinen.
“Yeah, or that in this way they dived into the hearts of the people,” says presenter Katja Ståhl.
Ståhl admired the voice of his colleague.
– It went well, you are in the future, Ståhl jokes to her presenter.

For the first time, Kekäläinen hosts a song competition. In May, he told Iltalehti that he did not see himself as a “hardcore fan” of the competition, but was still very excited about the event.
– I wouldn’t put myself on the same line with such real tango people, but I still like the tango and any other stroke music. I like to listen to the tango because it is somehow such a king, Kekäläinen said.
This is also the first time Kekäläinen hosts Ståhl. In the past, they have met many times in work situations and in the dog park, but presenting together is a new experience for them.

– Most of the time I meet Katja in our dog park because we live close to each other and our dogs go to the same dog park. We haven’t been together yet, so this is such a second level of our level, Kekäläinen said in the same interview.
This summer, the Tango Market returned to Yle TV1 after a nine -year break. The last time the legendary singing competition was seen in 2016.
