Coen Hogendoorn becomes Director General Government Budget at the Ministry of Finance. The Council of Ministers has agreed to the proposal for this from Minister Uitermark of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment starts on July 14, 2025.

Drs. AC (Coen) Hogendoorn has been director of the Inspectorate of the Government Finance since October 2020 and since 2018 deputy director-general National Budget at the Ministry of Finance. At the same ministry he was also director of budget matters and director of General Financial Economic Politics. Before that, he was director of Financial Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Justice and Security and deputy director at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. He started his career as an inspector at the Inspectorate of the National Finance. Coen Hogendoorn studied economics, specialization business economics, at the University of Amsterdam.

This appointment was made through the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service.
