Due to a malfunction in a tunnel, there are no trains on the high -speed line of Rotterdam Central to Breda. The Dutch Railways expect the malfunction to last at least six hours on Saturday evening.
The problem arose in the Willemspoort tunnel in the center of Rotterdam. There was a power outage at the electricity supplier, says a spokesperson. “It is a very annoying malfunction, this means that international travelers have a considerably longer travel time.”
People who want to go to Breda, Roosendaal or Zeeland must take the city transport to Rotterdam-Zuid at Rotterdam Central. Sprinters go to Dordrecht from there. Intercity’s run from Dordrecht.
