Brand raged in a nature reserve on the Zevenhuizerweg in Uden on Friday evening. The fire was discovered around eleven. The fire was about six hundred meters from the public road.

Due to the size of the fire, the fire brigade quickly scaled up. Fire brigade units from Uden and Nistelrode pulled out with tanker sprayers and also let two water cars come.

Hood
The fire had not only spread over the ground, but also spread to trees. In the end, several trees were cut down to extinguish them in parts. A considerable piece of nature reserve has been destroyed by the flames.

The extinguishing work was more difficult because a water car was initially unable to reach the site. A barrier was closed and had to be cut.

A lot of attention
The fire attracted a lot of attention. The fire brigade finally managed to get the fire under control.
