The interest of FC Bayern in Nick Woltemade has already been reported in detail. Now the Munich people are doing seriously.

VfB Stuttgart has supposedly rejected a first offer from Bayern Munich for Nick Woltemade. According to information from the “Bild” newspaper, the offer was received in Stuttgart on Thursday evening. Bayern are said to have offered around 40 million euros plus five million in possible bonus payments.

VfB, on the other hand, keeps: According to several media reports, the club demands a transfer fee of around 80 million euros for the attacker, who is still under contract by 2028. Woltemade itself should hope for an early agreement.

At Bayern, the pressure to act is great on the offensive: After Thomas Müller’s end of career and the injury to Jamal Musiala, the Munich is looking for reinforcements. Sports board member Max Eberl had already said during the club World Cup in the USA that Woltemade was dealing with. He is a player “about whom we think,” says Eberl – and further: “Let’s see what is possible.”

VfB sports director Fabian Wohlgemuth, on the other hand, recently rejected rumors of change: “We made a long-term agreement almost a year and a half ago with Nick-it continues to apply. That is why we firmly assume that Nick will also play for VfB in the coming season and will demonstrate his qualities.”

According to information from the “Bild”, the Bayern bosses would like to speak personally to those responsible for VfB-so far the Stuttgart meetings have been rejected.

Woltemade changed from Werder Bremen to Stuttgart in the 2024/25 season. The attacker was recently nominated for both the U21 and the A national team.
