According to the preliminary accident report, the brothers were suspected of driving speeding when they went to pass another car. In connection with the bypass, the Lamborghini tire is suspected to have erupted, causing the car to get out of the way and caught fire.
– I photographed it, stopped and tried to help, but unfortunately I couldn’t do anything. I have a clean conscience, says Azevelo.
At the time of the accident, he did not know that the superstar of the football and his little brother traveled in the Turma car. They were going to Santander, where the trip was to continue by ferry to England.
Dangerous road
The accident occurred on the A-52 road in the northwestern Spain, close to the Portuguese border.
