Bob Vylan tried to have at her first concert since the controversial Glastonbury appearance in June to calm the heated mood around the duo.

The British duo was unloaded by European festivals after its appearance in Glastonbury, in which the crowd to the speech choir “Death, Death of the IDF” (the Israeli defense forces), lost its US visa.

After the canceled shows, Bob Vylan returned to the stage of the London 100 Club on Wednesday. There the audience again tuned the “Death to the IDF” call. Front man Bobby Vylan warned the crowd. “No, no, no, no. You still get me into trouble. Apparently all other speeches are okay. But you get me into trouble”. Instead, he started “Free, Free Palestine”.

Glastonbury, US visa loss, festival cancellations

“Today I’m trying to talk as little as possible,” added Bobby Vylan. “Because that was exactly what brought us into difficulties. I am quite tired. It was a hard week. Strenuous days. We only delete fires, do you know? We could never have imagined that we would create a conversation that had to be held.”

The BBC, which Bob Vylan’s appearance in Glastonbury had broadcast live, later apologized and announced that the British Festival will no longer send any “risky” acts. “We deeply regret that such an insulting and hideous behavior was on the BBC and would like to apologize to our viewers and listeners and especially the Jewish community,” said the broadcaster in a statement. “We are also unambiguous that anti -Semitism must not have a place at the BBC or BBC.”

After the performance, the Glastonbury Festival itself also published an official statement in which festival chief Emily Eavis said that the organizers were “horrified” about the statements. The US State Department withdrawn the US visa before his tour planned for autumn. They were also deleted by several upcoming European festivals (including England’s Radar Festival and France’s Kave). The British police have also initiated investigations in connection with the performance.

BBC draws consequences-statement on anti-Semitism debate

Despite the controversial, Bob Vylan’s current album “Humble as the Sun” got back into the British charts. A fact that Bobby Vylan addressed at the concert in the 100 club.

“What happens over there is a single chaos. It is damn criminal what is done to these people. They are now being concentrated in warehouse. We are trying to silence us. We thought that would make us silent, but the album is back in the charts,” said Bobby Vylan.

“We just want to see the liberation of the Palestinian people. This is all. I don’t think that this is a crazy requirement. I do not think that this is a violent demand, is it? The liberation of the Palestinian people from a tyrannical damned oppressor. This is all that we want. Every single time – they will not make us damn silence.”
