“Fearless – The Anthology” is a new edition by Ronnie Wood, who will be released on September 26, 2025. This is devoted to the musician’s 60-year career. The 78-year-old also released a new song: “You’re So Fine”.

The work appears as a double LP and double CD and focuses on seven solo studio albums, its most important works as a co-author and formative moments with the Rolling Stones, The Faces, Rod Stewart, Ronnie Lane and the Jeff Beck Group. His early years with The Birds and briefly with The Creation are represented on the CD edition.

“Fearless” contains four new songs. Woods first new solo material since the “I Feel Like Playing” published in 2010.

The recordings include a new version of the classic “A Certain Girl” from the 1960s (written by Allen Toussaint alias Naomi Neville), interpreted with guest singer Chrissie Hynde. Singer Imelda May can be heard on two titles. “You’re So Fine”, a new edition of the Falcons R&B hit from 1959, as well as a reinterpretation of the Jamaican rock steady song “Take It Easy” by Hopeton Lewis. The fourth new recording is an original title called “Mother of Pearl”. The new pieces of Wood’s son Jesse Wood and Sean Genockey were produced.

Start with The Birds and the Jeff Beck Group

The CD edition begins with “You’re on My Mind” by The Birds. Woods starting point as a songwriter and musician. The vinyl set starts with the blues rock piece “Spanish Boots”, written by Ronnie Wood, Rod Stewart and Nicky Hopkins for the Jeff Beck Beck Group album published in 1969.

The collection also recognizes Wood’s work in the 1970s. From well-known faces hits such as “Ooh La La” and “Stay with me” (recently listed with Rod Stewart in Glastonbury) to his important contributions to Stewart’s solo career. Songs from the underestimated solo album “I’ve got my own album to do” (1974) are now also given special attention.

50 years of Stones and solo work

Wood’s entry at the Rolling Stones five decades ago marked an artistic homeland, which already clearly emerged with the song “Hey Negrita” from the 1976 album Black and Blue. This and many other Stones cooperation such as “Dance (Part 1)”, “Everything is Turning to Gold”, “Black Limousine”, “No Use in Crying” and “Pretty Beat Up” are also on “Fearless”. Woods Solowerke, right up to the album “I Feel Like Playing” (2010), also find their place on this anthology.
