According to climate scientists, the intense heat wave that Europe met last week probably die thousands of people earlier. In a rapid analysis, research collective World Weather Attribution (WWA) has viewed the situation in twelve cities in the EU. The researchers estimate that only more than 1,500 people have died early there by extreme temperatures that are due to climate change. That is a triple of the normal number.
