Linkin Park Goes Frankfurt am Main: After the acclaimed Germany appearances in Berlin and Düsseldorf, the expectation was high: on July 8, 2025, guest appearances Linkin Park As part of her “From Zero World Tour” in the sold -out Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt.
Already the start made you look: Instead of a dark tape intro, the winking “Oscar Mayer Wiener Song” was followed by a real party burner-Peter Wackels “We just want to celebrate”, of course both on tape. Did Mike Shinoda & Co. sit because the Schalk on the neck? After that it started with a regular program.
Linkin Park in Frankfurt: Four acts, many surprises
The actual set began with “Somewhere I Belong” (before that there was “Inception Inception Intro C”, which picked up elements from “Burn It Down”). Then: a change between old and new. Named “Somewhere I Belong” and “Lying from You” aroused memories of the “Meteora” era, while “Cut the Bridge”, “The Emptiness Machine” or “Up From The Bottom” showed fresh material from From Zero.
With “Wheree’d you go” (Fort Minor), “When they come for me / remember the name” (as Mike-Solo incl. “Until it breaks” verses) and a feature appearance by Sam Carter (Architects) on “One Step Closer” was there. As a close, there was “in the End” before the band came back for an extensive encore – the crowd went home satisfied.
New material dominates – the focus is on “From Zero”
In Frankfurt, too, the current album “From Zero” formed the backbone of the show – with eight songs there was a clear focus. In addition to “Hybrid Theory” (4 songs) and “Meteora” (4 songs), “A Thousand Suns” (2), “Living Things” (2) and even the Fort-Minor universe were also represented. Look mainly forward, but with a nostalgia factor.
