Kélian Nsona leaves Hertha BSC permanently after the end of his loan to FC Emmen. The offensive player, which was actually under contract until 2026, joins the first division club Casa Pia AC in the Portuguese capital Lisbon. The 23-year-old Frenchman Nsona changed from SM Caen to Berlin for 500,000 euros in early 2022, but was never able to gain a foothold in the professionals due to injury. The former junior international spent the second half of 2023/24 on loan at the MSK Zilina.
“Kélian fought his way back after several setbacks and drew attention to himself due to his strong performance in Emmen. We are very happy for him and wish him all the best for his future,” said Hertha sports director Benjamin Weber. The German second division team primarily wanted to save Nsona’s salary. At Emmen in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, the professional recently achieved 18 goal participations in 39 games, which enabled it to increase its market value again after several devaluations to 750,000 euros.
