The Belgian had a different story in court. According to the French lawyer of the Belgian, the couple was attacked by the French. “My client was beaten up. He has drawn a knife from self -defense,” said the lawyer.

Afterwards, the Belgian would immediately have surrendered to the called police. The Frenchman was taken to Bayonne’s hospital, and is out of danger.
