The path of midfielder Elisa Sense to the German national team and to the EM of women is an atypical. However, their ease and joy could go far from the DFB women at the European Championship in Switzerland.
Tumor operations, amputations or motorcycle accidents – Elisa Sense has a lot to tell. The German international worked in the trauma surgery of the University Hospital Essen until deep into her Bundesliga career – because her salary was not enough at SGS to make a living from it.

The native of Oldenburg is much more than just a destroyer or clearer in the midfield of the DFB women. Paris’s bronze medal winners have now played 22 caps and scored two goals.
