So every day we do everything we can to reach this point and simply let the rest come up to us,” said Golden.
He could play a major role in this. With Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Donatyvion Wicks and Christian Watson, the Packers have a solid receiver corp, but there is no clear WR1, especially since Christian Watson could largely miss the season after a cruciate ligament tear.

NFL: Golden brings a lot

“My versatility, my skills, I can play anywhere in the field,” said Golden. “I just do what the team is asking for. I did that in Texas and I will continue to do so. To be able to play for the Green Bay Packers, just means me,” enthuses the wide receiver.
With his new quarterback Jordan Love, Golden still has to establish a connection. “It will be as it should be: over time you have to gain your trust,” said Golden about the structure of this relationship. “For me, it’s just about doing my best every day and let him know that I am exactly where I have to be. So I have the feeling that this will happen over time,” says Golden optimistically.
