Working on the Menin Gate cost a total of 6 million euros and were financed by the six Member States of the CWGC: Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom. The Flemish government contributed 1.6 million euros through the heritage and tourism program, and the city of Ypres invested 300,000 euros.
