The international competition brings firmen from 70 countries together. They compete against each other in extreme physical tests, always in complete equipment and with compressed air. Gheeraert, active at the aid zone 1, had to move stairs, drags and move heavy loads.
Johnny also won prizes at the European Championship last week in Mönchengladbach, Germany. There he became European champion. The Belgian team as a whole won six medals at the World Cup.
