Yohannes came out for Ajax for five years. “I am very proud that I was able to wear the Ajax shirt and have been able to grow here as a player and person,” she wrote on Instagram.
On 2 September 2023 she made her debut for the main force of the Ajax Women. In total she came into action, in which she scored seven times. “I will always be grateful to the club that they have given me the opportunity to realize my dream of professional football player,” she adds.
Yohannes, who grew up in the United States, moved to the Netherlands at the age of tenth. She could play both for the Dutch national team and the American team, but chose to come out for the United States. She scored immediately with her debut.
