The thieves were surprised by the Cofidis stable in French. As many as 11 racing bikes were stolen from the team truck after the first day of the race.
– When we woke up in the morning, we noticed that our truck had been broken. When we made an inventory, we noticed that 11 wheels had been stolen, probably after 4.30am in the morning, team manager Cédric Vasseur told For RMC Sport.
It was a really valuable catch.
– Each bike costs between 10,000 and € 13,000. When it tells eleven, it’s a lot of money, Vasseur calculated.
Immediately in the morning, the stable reported the crime to the police.
– The investigation is underway, and of course the police will do their best to get the stuff back.
According to Vasseuri, journalists who have stayed in the same hotel as the team have also been victims of long -claws. That is why the man suspects that this is an organized group that has been operating in the area for several days.
“I advise all the stables to be alert,” Vasseur said.
