Werder Bremen has extended the Treaty of U19 Salim Musah in the long term. The 19-year-old attacker was one of the regulars in the Bremen A-youth in the past season, which won the DFB Cup for the first time. As usual, the green-whites did not provide any information about the new term of the contract, according to the “picture” it is dated until 2028.
Musah scored 20 goals in 24 missions last season and prepared two more. Under coach Cedric Makiadi, the Bremen youth team played a successful season, in addition to the triumph in the cup, the semi -finals of the German championship also reached, where the penalty shooting against 1. FC Köln was over. Musah also had an important role in the cup final and scored 2-0 against the Karlsruher SC in extra time.
“Due to his physical presence, technical skills and final strength, Salim can pose problems with many defensive series. Even in the meantime, he did not let us be put off in his eight years. We are pleased that Salim would like to continue his positive development at SV Werder in the future,” commented Marc Dommer, sporting director of the NLZ, the extension of Musah. The 1.98 meter tall center forward can prove itself in preparation for the professionals and will then also be used for the U23 in the Regionalliga Nord.
