For the past two years, Djokovic has lost the final of Carlos Alcaraz. In the fourth round, Djokovic is heading against Australian Alex de Minauraur. The Australian won in three sets of August Holmgren from Denmark: 6-4 7-6 (5) 6-3.
“It is very historic and sounds beautiful,” said the 38-year-old Serbian in the interview on the track about his hundredth victory. “I am very grateful that I am in this position. Wimbledon is a favorite tournament and a dream for so many players. In all the history I write at my favorite tournament, I feel privileged.”

Jannik Sinner has also penetrated to the fourth round without a set loss. The Italian number 1 in the world won in three sets of Spaniard Pedro Martínez: 6-1 6-3 6-1.

Sinner had also won his games in the first and second round without losing a set. The 23-year-old Italian only had some more opposition from Martínez, the number 52 in the world ranking in the second set. On 2-2 he still won the storage of the Spaniard and took the set with a second break.

Defenser Barbora Krejcikova is out
Defenser Barbora Krejcikova was eliminated in the third round of Wimbledon. The Czech lost in three sets of the tenth-placed American Emma Navarro: 6-2 3-6 4-6.
Krejcikova, the number 16 of the world ranking, beat the Italian Jasmine Paolini last year in the final on the grass in London and took her second grand slam title. She won Roland Garros earlier in 2021.
Against Navarro, the American number 10 in the world, she started strong and took the first set with two breaks. The American set the stand with a win of the second set. In the third set there were five service breaks in a row. Navarro once less lost its storage and decided the party after almost two and a half hours.
Demi Schuurs
Demi Schuurs is eliminated in the second round of the women’s doubles. With her American double partner Asia Muhammad, the 31-year-old Dutch double specialist from Het Koppel Kimberly Birrell and Maya Joint from Australia lost in three sets: 6-4, 4-6 and 6-7 (7).
Schuurs and Muhammad were placed sixth on the London grand slam tournament. The duo was already successful this year in the doubles with tournament gods in Queen’s and Indian Wells.
Schuurs and Muhammad started energetically with a win in the first set against the Australian couple. They lost the second set, but came in the third with 5-2. Birrell and Joint fought back in the game by winning four games in a row and then also the Supertiebreak (10-7).
