At the big farewell concert by Black Sabbath on July 5th in Villa Park in Birmingham There were two supergroup appearances. If you would be there, you kept secret – there was only two super groups at the Schedule.
The first of the two supergroups – simply referred to in timetable as “supergroup A” – entered the stage at 3:25 p.m. British. Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme) on the guitar, II (Sleep Token) on the drums, Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne Band) on the keyboards and Frank Bello (Anthrax) on the bass were on stage as a top -class.
Black Sabbath: Supergroup A with Yungblud, Whitfield Crane & Co.
Yungblud and the Supergroup A ensured goosebumps with their haunting version of the Sabbath piece “Changes” (1972). The singer dedicated the song to the tragically crashed football professional Diogo Jota, who died in a car accident on July 3 in Northern Spain.
Also on the singing microphone: Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) with a powerful version of Ozzy Osbournes “Ultimate Sin”, David Draiman (Disturbed), the “Shot in the Dark” and the Sabbath classic “Sweet Leaf”, and Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe), who interpreted the song) “Believer” sang. Supergroup A, predicate: 1a. We are excited to see who will be at Supergroup B.
Jason Momoa moderated
After Mastodon was the first volume to finish her set and some fan videos were shown, actor Jason Momoa (“Game of Thrones”, “Aquaman”) entered the stage. Momoa leads through the event as a moderator. He was visibly thrilled in the “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath” shirt.
