Jan Gyamerah continues at the 1st FC Kaiserslautern after only one year and switches to SV Elversberg within the 2nd Bundesliga. After VfL Bochum, Hamburger SV and 1.FC Nuremberg, it is the fifth stop in the German lower house for the 30 -year -old right -back. He signed a contract until 2027.

Gyamerah was on the pitch in 24 games for Kaiserslautern last season, but could not recommend further tasks. Most recently, a move to Prussia Münster had also stood in the room. “SV Elversberg has shown in recent years that you can achieve a lot with clear ideas and cohesion. For me, the change is the right step at the right time – I look forward to becoming part of this path and starting the new season together with the team,” he said.

SVE sports director Ole Book added the tenth new addition to the coming season: “Jan has proven his football class and flexibility for years, he will also be an enrichment in the cabin. We are happy to welcome him to Elversberg.”
