SV Wehen Wiesbaden found the replacement for Florian Carstens, who was immigrated to Hansa Rostock. The Belgian central defender Jordy Gillenkens came to the Belgian second division club Francs Borains free of charge after his end of the contract and signed the third division until 2028.

Gillekens has the experience of 110 games in the Challenger Pro League and increased its market value last season to 300,000 euros. “We are pleased to have won a defender with Jordy who has already gained a lot of professional experience in his home country and fulfills our requirement profile for central defense very well. With his virtues, his character and playful quality, he will specifically strengthen us,” said Uwe Stöver, Managing Director Sport at SVWW.
