The emergency services pulled out en masse, including fire brigade, police, three ambulances and two mosquito teams, also from northern France. The victims in the Citroën were cared for on the spot, while the fire brigade had to remove the roof from the Toyota to safely remove the occupants from the vehicle. According to officer Florian Vandecasteele of the Fluvia emergency services zone, the two seriously injured women are not in danger. The Toyota driver was not seriously injured, but was taken preventively to the hospital.
