Oasis play their opening concert in Cardiff today (July 4th) and the rumor mill is already bubbling, which mega stars could mix under the guests. Dave Grohl already spotted in Wimbledon
A hot tip: Dave Grohl. The foo fighter front man was recently spotted with his wife at tennis in Wimbledon and could therefore still be in Great Britain. In purely geographical, he would only be a few hours away from the Principality Stadium. And it has long been known that Grahl is an avowed Oasis fan: he emphasized his love for the band in several interviews. “I heard her like crazy in the 90s,” he once said. The friendship with Liam Gallagher is also documented – in 2017 Liam appeared at the Caljam Festival curated by Grahl.
So there is a big reunion – possibly even on stage? A spontaneous jam session with the Gallagher brothers would undoubtedly be an unforgettable moment for fans. Grohl has also repeatedly caused surprise appearances in the past.
A stop in Birmingham would also be conceivable. Black Sabbath play their final concert there on Saturday. Here, too, the chances are not bad that Dave Grohl grabs a guitar or sits on the drums. There remains speculation whether Dave Grohl can actually be seen. But all signs indicate that the Gallagher reunion becomes more than just a nostalgia trip for fans.
